César Farías exploded with the journalist José Hugo Iillera, after a press conference in which the Venezuelan coach spoke of the news of Atlético Junior of Barranquilla.
At the end of the talk, Farías went to the bottom of the press room to face the Win Sports reporter and claim him because, in his understanding, he was blaming him for not opening space in the practices to enter the journalists.
“José is already good. You want me to be indisposed in front of the people. I respect you as I respect you,” Farías began in his claim, which was taking a very strong tone of discussion, but ended without more news.
However, a couple of hours later, on this Wednesday, April 30, Farías and Iillera had a private talk to file roughness and solve any type of inconvenience.
This was revealed by the Argentine journalist Juan José Buscalia, who told how the problems between the DT and the journalist were solved: “Someone of the club made the contact to clarify the situation. They had that private conversation,” he confirmed in 'Sports Blog', of Blu Radio.
“The Barranquilla press bothers the players, they are accustomed to having some periodicity to talk to them; then Illera held him responsible, or that felt Farías, for that distance between the squad and the journalists,” said Buscalia.
“That was what Farías claimed, and he acknowledges that he is not right,” added the Argentine journalist.
José Hugo Illera himself confirmed in his social networks that he talked with Farías and that “the misunderstanding has been left behind”, because “the really important thing is the good of the team.”
