Who is Travis Hunter’s fiancée, Leanna Lenee? Why did she delete her social media accounts?

One of the most-talked about prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft is this year’s Heisman winner, Travis Hunter. The cornerback-wide receiver duo out of Colorado is one of the most talented and unique prospects in NFL Draft history.

But he’s been in the headlines for more personal reasons since winning the Heisman as well, thanks to his fiancée, Leanna Lenee.

Hunter, Leanna, and a little bit of drama

Hunter and Lenee have been together since at least early 2022 and got engaged in February 2024. She was in attendance when Hunter won the Heisman, but received social media backlash for her subdued reaction.

Lenee had been sitting alongside Hunter’s mother, coach Deion Sanders, and quarterback Shedeur Sanders. She was criticized for her reaction as she was the last to stand and first to sit after Hunter was announced as the winner. This led to online speculation about her character, with people digging up clips to portray her negatively and question her motives in the relationship.

Hunter and others, including WNBA star Angel Reese, defended Lenee. Hunter urged fans to stop meddling in his personal lifeemphasizing that Lenee has supported him for years. Lenee also posted celebratory messages after the ceremony.

Lenee posted an emotional eight-minute video explaining her actions during the ceremony, saying she hesitated because Hunter’s mother hadn’t stood yet and she didn’t want to act out of turn. She also denied being prompted by Coach Deion Sanderssaying she was going to go to Hunter regardless.

However, backlash intensified when an old video surfaced of Lenee dancing with another man – taken before she was with Hunter. Despite its age, it fueled more criticism, prompting even Dez Bryant to weigh in, advising Hunter to leave her. He later deleted the post.

Following the overwhelming scrutiny, both Hunter and Lenee deactivated their social media accountsseemingly stepping away from the spotlight as the drama continued. But the spotlight will be on tonight as many experts have Hunter getting picked second overall. Lenee will surely be in attendance, alongside Hunter’s father, who was given special permission by the courts to leave his probation to attend the event.
