The president of the FIFA, Gianni Infantinohe states that Cristiano Ronaldo I could play in the Club World Cup Thanks to a unique signing market. Al Nassr did not qualify for the tournament, but Infantino suggested that the Portuguese star could sign for one of the 32 teams that dispute the competition in the United States from next month.
“Cristiano Ronaldo could play at the Club World Cup,” Ishowspeed told Streaming Canal. “There are conversations with some clubs, so if anyone is pending and is interested in signing Ronaldo for the Club World Cup, who knows. It will be fun.”
The FIFA confirmed on Wednesday that the last minute signings are open to all the teams that participate in the tournament, which generated more speculations about whether any of them will try to sign Ronaldo, 40, with a short -term contract, possibly a loan. This measure would not be preceded in modern football, although it could be attractive to FIFA by promoting the visibility and sale of tickets of an inaugural tournament that is played in 11 US cities.
