“You have to deal with this pain”

Ruben Amorim, Manchester United coach, could not hide his dejection after falling against Tottenham in the Europa League final held in San Mamés. “It's football. We started well but we lost control of the game and marked us on an isolated occasion,” lamented the Portuguese coach.

“In the second part we have had many opportunities and we have given it to mark but they have won,” he explained. “It hurts the feeling of not being able to win by having it so close. We have not lost any game in the competition until today. We feel nothing after the game, we must think about the next season,” he said.

Asked by Movistar's reporter about the changes that Manchester United needs to refloat the team that comes, Amorim did not want to go into details. “It is not the time to talk about it, you have to deal with pain and defeat and we will think about the future,” he settled.
