“A final is a final”

Pedro Porro was one of the two players chosen by Tottenham to appear today before the press in San Mamés for the final of the Europa League tomorrow. The first question for Don Benito's defense was referred to the barbecue maintained by the English team for pineapple for this decisive clash against Manchester United

“When I signed for the 'Spurs' I also made barbecue. It is important to make a pineapple because this is a family and you have to talk about life with my colleagues,” he said.

Regarding tomorrow's final, the Spanish defense indicated that “it is a very important moment for us and our fans. They give us that pressure from outside because they have not gained time. The most important thing is now to be focused on the group, on us.”

Porro reduced importance to having defeated United three times this same season because “a final is a final.” Regarding the fact that this Europa League final is played in San Mamés, the Tottenham side acknowledged that “it is very special. We knew that the final was in Bilbao and for a Spanish player it is always special to play in this field. Very happy for it.”
