When will the 2025 NFL schedule be released? Date time and where to watch

Wondering who your team will face to begin the 2025 NFL season? The wait is nearly over!

NFL Schedule Release week is here, and it’s already begun. The schedule for the 2025 season will be drip-feed across three days, with the bulk of the calendar being revealed in a stand-alone event.

The full schedule will be released on Wednesday, May 14 on a special show broadcast on the NFL Network and NFL+. The programming will begin at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

However you can get a sneak peak at the scheduling across a series of mini-announcements taking place from Monday to Wednesday. Here’s a look at the schedule release lineup..

The first announcement has already been made and it concerns the reigning champions. Super Bowl winners Philadelphia Eagles will host the 2025 season opener against the Dallas Cowboyswith that game set for Thursday, September 4.

We also know that the Christmas Day schedule is set to expand after a successful event in 2024. This year Netflix will air two games on December 25, with another game going to Amazon.

And in terms of the International Games, here’s the lineup for 2025: Berlin, Indianapolis Colts (Olympic Stadium); Dublin; Pittsburgh Steelers (Croke Park); London, Jacksonville Jaguars (Wembley Stadium); London, New York Jets (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium); London, Cleveland Browns (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium); Madrid, Miami Dolphins (Santiago Bernabéu Stadium); São Paulo, Los Angeles Chargers (Corinthians Arena).

Those teams are the hosts for each of the overseas matches. Their opponents will be announced as part of the schedule release this week.
