Women's football in Colombia continues to grow and seems to have no roof thanks to the successes of different clubs on international scene, as well as the selections in all its categories, but all this is also thanks to the great seedlings that continue to export their talents to different professional teams.
That is the case of intimate forms, a club that currently has an alliance with Atlético Nacional, a team that is the protagonist of the Women's League in recent seasons.
For years, the Club intimate forms has been the backbone of the development of women's football in Colombia and in an event full of emotionality and stories of overcoming, the group intimate forms – Paisa Socia de 50% of the National Professional Sports Project Atlético Nacional, united several players to share experiences about this project that is increasingly consolidated.
Far from the reflectors, the Club intimate forms, led in sports by Liliana Zapata – national and reference of women's football – has built since 2000 a solid, coherent and transformative platform that has left as a great legacy a huge quarry where emblematic figures such as Catalina Usme, Daniela Montoya and Manuela Vanegas have been born. Behind the club is the business group with the same name, whose mission has been very clear since its origins: to open real paths for Colombian women, first from fashion (1986) with recognized brands as personal marketing -mp- and then from football, the latter, much before even that there was a professional league for them.
The alliance with Atlético Nacional, formalized in 2023, does not mark a start, but the consolidation of a shared route. A joint alliance in vision, effort and commitment, which honors the legacy of those who bet on this project when no one else did.
“For more than two decades, women's football has been our cause. Today we want the country to know this story and join it. Because together with the professionalism of Atlético Nacional, there is the vision of intimate forms: our training club and our business organization,” said Sebastián Roldán, his general manager, during the meeting held at his headquarters in Medellin a few hours from the classic Paisa.
Currently, Atlético Nacional – intimate forms is located sixth in the Professional Women's League with 15 points and remains focused on obtaining the classification to the finals.
