Once again Colombia will host a Tournament organized by Conmebol and now it is the turn for the U-17 South American that will begin this Wednesday, April 30 and will run until May 24.

Those led by coach Carlos Paniagua debuts on April 30 against Argentina from 7:00 pm at the Palographic Stadium in Manizales, one of the three venues that will have this important continental tournament that will give four places to the World Cup in Morocco that will be played in mid -October 2025.

To have a bit of clarity about the game format, headquarters and World Cup quotas granted by this South American female U-17, here we show each of the parameters in detail so that it is prepared for the youth tournament.

Participating selections
The 10 countries affiliated with Conmebol have the right to play the South American Women's U-17 and that will be distributed in two groups of five participants each. Colombia for being host is in A with Argentina, Paraguay, Chile and Venezuela.

Headquarters and stadiums
Manizales, Palmira and Cali are the cities that will host this South American female sub-17 that will have as its protagonists the stadiums of the Palogrande, Francisco Rivera Escobar and the Pascual Guerrero.

The entire group phase will be played in the Palogrande of Manizales and Francisco Rivera Escobar de Palmira, while the final phase will be in Palmira and Cali.

Colombia will play the first three meetings in Manizales and then in Palmira the last of the group stage.

Competition format and World Cup quotas
The tournament has two phases, being the group and then a final instance that will leave four selections classified to the U-17 Women's World Cup.

The group stage system is all system against all, in which the first three selections of each area will classify the final phase.

After the six classified selections are confirmed, a final phase will be played with the same system of all against all, but only the first four positions will be those granted by the World Cup quotas, while the champion will be the one who occupies the first box.

In both instances, the first tiebreaker item is the direct confrontation, followed by the difference in goals, annotations in favor, lower number of red cards, yellow minors and as a last option by raffle.
