In Valencia around 7,000 children, who play football, have been affected by the flood of October 29which left more than 200 victims and billions of material losses.
The Football Federation of the Valencian Community since the day of the tragedy contacted all the clubs that had suffered some type of damage by Dana. From the fourth day he already began to investigate what to do this moment began a process of study of damage and how they could recover. This has been transferred by the president of the Federation, Salvador Gomar, to Superdeporte.
“The first measure that we launched was to pay the arbitration of all the games to the clubs that had been affected, specifically, 37 entities”Gomar has assured. Thus, he pointed out that they have also helped with displacements and, above all, most importantly, for him, with the spirits of athletes.
“We are trying to do everything possible to recover damaged facilities. We cannot run anymore. We have already done what a City Council would take a year to do”he has highlighted. Therefore, he has asked “patience” to all clubs that have not yet recovered their facilities, since he has announced that they hope that before summer all the works can be finished, both those in charge and those of the rest.

The FFCV has pledged to rebuild the Benetússer and 'El Terrer' field of Paiporta, to which some 1,100,000 euros will allocate. “A commitment that we believe we must do for the situation that has been experienced, but it is a management that corresponds to the municipalities, because they are municipal”he has nuanced.
Gomar has thank all the entities that have been involved in helping any club in Valencia, but, specifically, he thanked the help of Villarreal and Valencia CF.
Today the fields that are in operation are those of the tower, Catarroja, Aldaia, Beniparrel and Algemesí.
