NFL Draft 2025: Updated order after trades and compensatory picks


As the NFL free agency period opened and trades were made, the NFL Draft order has changed a bit. The league also handed out its 35 compensatory picks, with the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, and Miami Dolphins being awarded the league-high four.

Since then, the NFL has released the updated draft order for all 257 picks this year. The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick with the Kansas City Chiefs selecting the dead last at No. 257.

The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay Wisconsin beginning with Round 1 on April 24followed by Rounds 2-3 on April 25 and Rounds 4-7 on April 26.

The San Francisco 49ers lost their fifth-round pick due to a payroll accounting error in the 2022-23 season, and the Atlanta Falcons lost theirs after they violated the NFL’s anti-tampering policy last offseason.
